ProActive Capital Index(s) - Descriptions/Narratives

  1. The ProActive ImmunoTherapy Index traces the performance of companies with market caps below $500 million which are developing or commercializing any type of cancer immunotherapy / defensive vaccine product that is designed to fuel the immune system for the eradication, combination treatment, or prevention of cancer. In addition, the ProActive Therapy/Vaccine index will follow companies developing any type of vaccine product for all types of infectious disease such as influenza. 
  2. The ProActive Emerging Cancer Index contains emerging-stage cancer companies with market caps below $400 million at the time of index inclusion. Finding a cure for cancer remains a focal point among many life science organizations today. Our ProActive Cancer Index encompasses the following categories:  diagnostics, drug discovery, immunotherapy (a.k.a. cancer vaccines which are designed to stimulate the immune system to eradicate cancer), and commercial or late-stage clinical development therapeutics, devices, intended for use by cancer patients.
  3. The ProActive Stem Cells Index tracks the performance of regenerative medicine companies with a market cap under $350 Million at the time of inclusion. The ProActive stem cell Index is based on companies that have compounds in development which are designed to restore, replace, repair, or improve the functionality or appearance of tissue and organ systems, including embryonic and adult stem cell therapies. In addition, all types of products and services for stem cell banking are eligible to be included in this index.
